Sorry for our blog's inactivity but we are getting ready to get this show back on the road.  A lot is up ahead for Wrong Number Films that is going to make your head spin.

We are in the making of a new short, Masquerade, that is going to star Rilwan Kujenya.  This short actually going to be off the funny side.  You will see more "serious" shorts from Wrong Number in the future, but we will still be rolling out with our comedies .

July is going to be a wild month.  We are in discussion of having a screening event that will be in Downtown Staten Island and if it goes underway you don't want to miss it!

And Wrong Number Films has just teamed up with the House of Tracks!  They are a Hip Hop Production Crew on Staten Island that has music that is off the chain! And guess what ... We are making videos in July!  Opportunities to be casted in it will be up on MySpace and our new forum page that is going to launch pretty soon.  One of the videos will have only cast people 17 and older so sorry youngins. =/

Stay tuned with Wrong Numbers because you definitely want to be in the know and Happy Mothers Day!

BITEblog vs. Horrible Mornings - by RILWAN K

Posted by Wrong Number Films at 10:38 PM on April 22, 2008 Comments comments (0)
You want to know what bites? Waking up in the morning screaming obscenities at your TV monitor. Why does this suck? Because it's hard trying to keep any kind of sanity, when you have to wake in the morning listening to the drivel that comes on this show (I feel it's a nuisance of show, almost to like a satanic degree) called the Morning Show with Mike and Juliet. The show sucks so bad, it ruins every morning. I literally can not even leave my TV on FOX watching M*A*S*H* at late because I am afraid of waking in the morning with Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy ruining my morning.

They dub the show a "Morning Talk with Late Night Attitude." I am here going to debunk this claim. Let's examine the typical Late Night Talk show. They are described as adult orientated, possibly towards a college-aged audience, and the usually feature some form of comedy (in other words they have to be funny). The Mike and Juliet show on the other hand barely surpasses PG-13 rated issues. I don't believe they even target a young adult crowd and the show simply is not funny, if it is at all trying to be.

I mean holy fuck! I hate this show! And, I am not going to excuse my French. The show has two goons of hosts, shitty stories, and even worse, played out sentiments and backwards opinions. The show sucks, simply, it sucks.

I personally feel that the show only could've stayed on TV thus far due to the super-wealth of News Corp. Then again the show is located on a good TV block (talk about timing). It's in the morning, when everyone's TV is one, and there is nothing else to watch. This crap runs at 9 o'clock on practically every TV in a Deli or waiting area in the country.

Let's talk about the hosts. Mike Jerrick is simply a dumb looking old fart. His overly botoxed face has this permanent, stupid look on his face. He's simply not a face for TV, and not a face I would want to see in the morning. It's amazing how he's single, older than my dad, and still showcases his sexuality like his aging body serves as some kind of chick magnet. (You're 30 years late pal.) Not only does he look dumb, the way he fumbles over his words and never has anything useful to say. And Juliet Huddy? She is the single, blond, 30-something year old that FOX suggests will grab attention from a lusty younger male audience and at the same time hold  on to some female viewers who are attract to her by her stereotypically feminine views. FOX basically casted a meathead and a generic foxy woman, way to relate with a wide audience.

They never stop. They have shitty stories that ask stupid questions like "The man who bared a baby, how do you feel?" Or, "are school teens becoming more violent? High school girls out of control." "Are you Flex-sex, 'cause I'm not?" WTF! How dumb are these questions. I start my morning screaming obscenities and exclamations at the tube. I can't handle such stupid questions in the morning - I find myself cringing and shouting "It's too early for this shit!" Seriously, how could you answer these? "I don't know," "maybe,"  and "what's flex-sex?"

Nonetheless, these guys tend to foward their Pro-News Corp views; they blame video games for every ounce of violence that occurs anywhere in society. Like seriously they must ultimately believe video games are the root of all evil. They also promote their Christian and Patriotic values. I have to be the angry atheist lying in bed saying, "Fuck off, God has nothing to do with this, keep your religion to yourself!" Well, anywho, the show serious sucks an I will recommend you never watch it!

How old are you ... on Mars? - by Naheem Adio

Amongst the cool things that I find on the internet, I found this website that calculates your birthday on other planets.  Since we base age on the revolutions the Earth makes around the sun, our age on Earth will be different than on Pluto or Mars.  Its cool fun thing to check out; Being that I am 18 years old to Earthlings, I'm 9 and half years old to Martians lol.  The website is below:

So as I was web browsing the other day (well I'm doing that every but w/e), and I came across one of the greatest web sites the internet has to offer.  Allow me to introduce you to Musicovery.  This is a Flash online interactive radio that you are are the "DJ".  Set the side panel to whatever mood you are in (or would like to be in) and what genres you would like to hear and it will play songs that will will "tickle that fancy" (lol).  Plus it is a great way to come across new artists you never knew about before.  I'm listening it it right now and being that I am in a positive mood, I am jamming!

It is most definitely website you want to check out ... like right this moment.

The Lie of The Century - by Naheem Adio

So as any normal human being would, we are pretty much war-weary.  Not only does this war bother Iraqis and American, but just about anyone who turns on their TV to CNN and have to hear about it.  And everyone has their various opinions on this war: we shouldn't have went to Iraq/we should've, we are in there for oil/we are there for WMDs, etc./etc.; but I can sure say for the most of us: we want it to be over with.

Now I just so happened to stumble upon this article by WhatReallyHappened.com, talking about how a government will have to lie or propagate some information in order to lead its denizens in war, which by the is not a new kind of government ideology; it is a tactic that has been around since the beginning of time.  And it then goes on [inevitably] to relate it the War in Iraq.

The article is very one sided, but when someone is on to something I like to put it up for discussion to see what others think.
The writer of this article does provide a lot of adequate support to his article, so me personally did not find it a waste of time to read this and was somewhat enlightened by his research.

So I was at Desedo (Desedo.com) and MHB let me know about this website StumbleUpon.com.  It is the TiVo for the internet!  Stumble Upon works as a tool for your Mozilla Firefox Browser (which if you don't have, it is worth getting for this tool and in general way better browser than Internet Explorer ... Mozilla Firefox).  You set your preferences for the kinds websites you are particularly interested in seeing on the internet (architecture, fine art, astronomy, etc.).  You click the "Stumble!" button and it lets you stumble on to a web page that is of preferred choice; and so far I've been rolling on to some cool websites ... Definitely something you need to check out, which will allow you to check out some other things ...

This is the first blog of The Operator.  Yes of course this site would need a blog space and of course you can respond as well; but responding requires you to quickly make a freewebs account (yes, I know, annoying but worth it).  I'm so excited!!

Right now we are in making of another documentary, we will soon upload the short The Entrepreneur, and independent music artist are currently hitting us up to make music videos.  This will be an exciting first year for Wrong Number Films and you can most definitely join in on the excitement!
